Electronic Checks in ACH

This Tele-Seminar is a comprehensive examination of all ACH rules for whenever a consumer writes a check and it's presented as an electronic debit. Learn the Financial Institution and Originator rights, responsibilities and obligations. We'll cover operational procedures, return options and how you can explain these items to consumers.

IAT - International ACH Transactions

The New International ACH Transaction Rules scheduled to become effective in March of 2009 will have major regulatory and software impacts on every ACH Network participant. These Tele-seminars are designed to give you the information you will need to prepare for this important change. Every DFI must accept IAT Transactions when the change becomes effective and must have a written policy to scan these transactions to ensure compliance with OFAC regulations. This change will impact your ACH Operations, make certain your staff attend one of these Tele-seminars.

WEB and TEL Transactions

ACH Compliance covers the regulations that govern the ACH network. We will discuss topics such as Regulation E and UCC4A, we will also discuss the responsibilities of each participant in the network and all the requirements of the DFIs. Please do not miss this important Tele-Seminar

ACH Risk Management

Risk management is the responsibilities of every ODFI in the ACH Network. Community banks and credit unions face unique challenges in meeting these requirements because they may lack the same infrastructure and support staff of a large, national institution. This tele-seminar is designed to equip community banks and credit unions with the knowledge and tools to improve communications and documentation related to risk management.

Internal Origination

Internal Origination will cover your responsibilities in becoming an OFDI including focusing on internal origination for loan departments and internal payroll. Credit issues and audit issues will also be addressed.

Government Payments

Thursday, July 24th

This Tele-seminar will take a look at the processing requirements for RDFI's receiving government ACH entries. Find out what rules are different for Federal Government ACH transactions and what your liability is for returns, NOC's and reclamations.
